A Little About Mike
Describe your journey to a simpler or more minimal lifestyle-
I am married to my best friend and we have 6 children. We all have different passions which require time and effort. We strive to eliminate the unnecessary so we can focus on those things that are most important to us.
Do you have a personal motto or creed that you live by?
I don’t really have one particular motto or creed that I live by. But most weeks I find myself saying “people are more important than things” in one form or another.
From whom or what do you find inspiration?
I’m all over the place with this one! I go through waves of interest and find inspiration in music, books, blogs, comedians, and whatever else I may have stumbled upon at the time. Recently, I’ve been motivated by Crash Course Psychology (YouTube) and Childish Gambino (music).
What is the first thing you do when starting your day?
Coffee (everyday), then exercise (most).
