Describe your journey to a simpler or more minimal lifestyle-
Dee Williams inspired us to go small, think big & be happy. After doing research and making to-do lists, we decided to simplify our lives in 2008. It’s an ongoing process and it’s been life changing!
Do you have a personal motto or creed that you live by?
I do! It’s “Go small, think big & be happy.”
What is your favorite quote?
I love Marie Forleo’s work. She recently said, “Trust is that beautiful feeling deep in your bones when you just know someone is true, honest and real. There’s integrity and reliability that’s born from a mutual sense of humanity, and respect. And if something goes a little haywire, it’s barely a blip on your emotional screen. Because when you fully trust someone, you know you’ll be kept in the loop.”
From whom or what do you find inspiration?
Walking, journaling, reading, and taking photos are a few activities that inspire me.
What is the first thing you do when starting your day?
I get up at 5am, make coffee, play with my cats, and then I journal.
What is your favorite book?
“Money: Master the Game” by Tony Robbins.
